    Best Dairy Free Keto Meals

Many keto recipes include dairy. We are the first to admit we love dairy, but we also think we need to reduce the amount of dairy in our day to day diet. We have collated our 30 favourite dairy free keto meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Are you living a dairy free keto lifestyle and are in the search for some meal inspiration? Check these 31 dairy free keto recipes to help get you started.

    Dairy Free Keto

Many people that are living a ketogenic lifestyle are also dairy free. Dairy free keto has increased in popularity as more people find keto. Some people arrive at keto from paleo and do a more paleo keto protocol, while others are dairy free due to being lactose intolerance.

I have found my gut issues are reduced when I am dairy free and this is a common reason many people are experimenting with dairy free keto.

    Dairy free keto Breakfasts

Bacon and Eggs – Bacon and eggs is our favourite go to dairy free keto breakfast. It’s really easy and you can do eggs all the different ways, including fried, scrambled, poached, boiled, even an omelette.

Chia Pudding – We love chia pudding and we make ours with coconut milk so it is an excellent dairy free keto option. You could experiment with adding flavours like cacao and have some fun with it.

Bulletproof drinks – Bone Broth, Chai tea, Hot Chocolate, Coffee Many people living a ketogenic lifestyle just have a bulletproof drink for breakfast. To keep these drinks dairy free use MCT oil and collagen powder to make them bulletproof instead of butter and cream. You can also replace cream with coconut cream if you still want that super creamy texture. You also don’t have to be limited to bulletproof coffee either, we love to have fatty tea, broth and hot chocolate here as well.

Not a fan of coffee and looking for a bulletproof drink option? Try a bulletproof tea. This coconut and chai bulletproof tea is the perfect alternative.

Smoothies – Chocolate fat bomb smoothie, Green keto smoothie, Creamy keto cinnamon smoothie Smoothies are another great dairy free keto option. We enjoy a smoothie for breakfast on a warm summers day. Smoothies are really easy to make dairy free, just use coconut mik or almond milk in place of regular milk or cream.

All the salads – Egg Salad, Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad Mayo mixed with either egg, chicken or tuna is definitely a go to for weekday lunches around here. We would usually have this 1-2 days a week. It’s such a simple lunch to make. Mash some boiled eggs with some mayo, mix some drained tin tuna with some mayo or mix up some shredded chicken with mayo and you are done. We like to season with salt and pepper and occasionally add some curry powder or fresh chives to the mixture. You can just eat it straight up, serve it in lettuce cups or on some seed crackers.

Instapot creamy chicken soup – Salads are our summer go to lunches and soups are our winter go to. We love to cook up a big batch of soup on the weekend and then we have lunches ready to go for the week. Don’t fear, if you dont have an instapot, this recipe from castaway kitchen also gives instructions for a slow cooker.

Yes there are so many dairy free options. Basic cooking, ie pan fried meat or roasts are all dairy free too. One of our favourite meals at the moment too, chicken satay, just uses coconut cream with peanut butter and chilli or curry added then poured over bit size chicken pieces that have been pan fried first with onion and sometimes capsicum. Served over cauliflower rice.
