    Nutella Fat Bombs

Regular Nutella is full of sugar and no longer an option when adopting the ketogenic way of life. Chocolate and hazelnut is one of our favourite flavour combinations and we wanted to create fat bombs using these flavours.

We found using the Perfect Keto Chocolate Collagen gave the Nutella fat bombs the perfect combination of chocolate flavour and sweetness. These are excellent to have on hand for when you crave sweetness, will keep you full for hours and best of all only 3 ingredients!

Fat bombs are a very popular treat on a ketogenic diet. Fat bombs are predominately made with fat and can take on many different flavours. They can be sweet or savoury. We love Nutella so much we wanted to create a fat bomb using the flavours of hazelnut and chocolate.

Hazelnuts are another nut we have fallen in love with since starting a ketogenic diet. Well, we have always loved Nutella, but that’s more sugar than hazelnuts. In the summer we love roasting them and adding them to salads for some crunch.

    Tips

We used hazelnuts with the skins removed. If you can’t find them at the store, roast them with the skins on, then rub them with a tea towel to remove the skins. They come off pretty easily once roasted.

Roasting the hazelnuts in the oven 8-10 minutes, gives the fat bombs a delicious flavour. It takes these fat bombs from good to amazing.

This is the Perfect Keto Chocolate Collagen we used in the recipe. It adds a delicious chocolate flavour and is sweetened with stevia which is one of our preferred sweeteners. You are also getting all the goodness from the collagen powder, which is great for your hair, nails and skin.

These can also be stored in the fridge or freezer, depending on how hard you prefer them. We like to eat them straight from the freezer so they are quite hard, but still melt in your mouth.

I definitely agree with you. We just bought a huge bag of hazelnuts from costco and I see these in our near future.
