Get all your ingredients ready and on the bench with you prior to starting to assemble your charcuterie board. You do not need to use all the ingredients listed, just choose a selection of your favourite ones.
Start with the large items like the small dishes or bowls you are using for your dips, olives etc.
Fill up your small plates and bowls. We had a small bowl with mixed olives, a small dish with roasted peppers, a side plate with hummus and another side plate with tzatziki.
Next start to to fill in some of the spaces around the plates using the smaller items like dried figs, any cured meats you are using, Turkish delight and other small items. Make sure you leave some large spaces for any hot items like grilled halloumi and pita bread to go, as these will take up more room.
It is best to add any hot items, such as the grilled halloumi and warm pita bread just before serving so they are hot and fresh.
Grilled haloumi
Cut the halloumi cheese block into slices, approximately 1cm or ⅓ inch each slice.
Preheat a non-stick frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat
Once the pan is hot, add the cheese and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until it is golden brown.
Serve as is or with a drizzle of hot honey. It is best cooked just prior to serving.

Tips & Suggestions
Get all your ingredients out and prepare any fruits and veggies, so you have everything ready to go to make assembling your board easier.
It is a good idea to place the larger items on the board first, spaced out, and then fill in the gaps from there.
