Instructions
Melt the butter in the small jug in the microwave
In the large narrow jug add the egg yolk, lemon juice and salt
Place the stick blender in the large jug and turn on high to combine the egg yolk and juice
Place the stick blender in the large jug and turn on high to combine the egg yolk and juice
Leave the blender on high and slowly drizzle in the melted butter
Once all the butter is added and combined you should be left with a creamy hollandaise!
Season with cayenne or black pepper if desired
Best served immediately and makes approximately 4 servings
