I love the Perfect Keto Chocolate Collagen in my coffee as the combination of collagen and MCT oil makes it so creamy and luscious. Even better than how great my coffee tastes, is the fact that each scoop of chocolate collagen powder is the equivalent of 2 cups of bone broth, so I know it is excellent for my health too. It works perfectly in this chocolate fat bomb smoothie as it adds an excellent texture and makes this a fat bomb. This drink will keep you full all day.
Chocolate Fat Bomb Smoothie
Dan doesn’t drink coffee, so I was thinking of a way she could incorporate the chocolate collagen into her diet and a smoothie seemed just perfect! A smoothie can be a great on the go breakfast, when you don’t have time for bacon and eggs. The best thing about this chocolate fat bomb smoothie is that it is a fat bomb and will keep you going all day.
Adding fat to a smoothie
We love smoothies as quick and easy breakfast option, but found the green smoothies just didn’t keep us full. So, we set out to find a smoothie that would keep us full all day long. We found adding the avocado and the Perfect keto Chocolate collagen powder as the best way to add fat and flavour to this smoothie.
Tips
We love this Perfect Keto Chocolate Collagen and always have it in the pantry. It is great for your hair, skin and nails. I love a scoop of this in my coffee and it is also great in our Keto Nutella Fat Bombs.
You can use store bought almond milk or even try making our own, check out our ‘How to’ guide here. You could also use coconut milk if you prefer.
Keep some frozen portions of avocado in the freezer, so you can whip up this chocolate fat bomb smoothie in an instant. Don’t regret not having some stored in the freezer ready to go, when you are craving a chocolate fat bomb smoothie.
We prefer our smoothies to be pretty thick, but you can vary the ice amount depending on how thick you like your smoothie.

I don’t do avocado what can I replace
havebutterwilltravel says
There’s not really a keto replacement for the avocado. It’s adds some creaminess, but you could make it without it.
Pamella says
Can you use whipping cream instead of coconut milk? Really really don’t like coconut milk. Thanks
havebutterwilltravel says
Hi Pamela, we usually use almond or coconut milk. You could also try macadamia or hemp milk. I am sure whipping cream would work too, you may just not want to use a whole cup. Maybe 1/2 a cup of cream and 1/2 a cup of water. Let us know how you go.
Celia says
What amount in ounces would the frozen avocado be?
havebutterwilltravel says
Hi Celia, The conversion is 2.5 ounces. Hope this helps
Emily says
Sgould this be a 12 is drink, mine came out to 24 oz because I used more ice to thicken it. But for servong size nutrition numbers, how many oz in one serving? Thanks!
havebutterwilltravel says
As long as you used the same measurements for the avocado, collagen, cacao powder and almond milk, then the size of the drink doesn’t matter as much. The nutritional info will still be the same. If you altered any of the measurements of those ingredients the nutritional info will change and would be best calculated using my fitness pal or another tracker.
